NON-BINARY FLIP fisherman shirt

Reconstructed deadstock fisherman shirt with 4 front pockets altered for a new genderless look with a shorter, boxier silhouette. The bottom of the shirt was cut and flipped, reconfigured to feature unique upside-down pockets (taken apart and re-sewn so they are still functional) and buttons on both sides of the soft grey fabric. One of the chest pockets includes an attached lens cloth for keeping your lenses clean. 

One option features the original brown buttons, the other features matching gray buttons covered with fabric cut out during the redesign process. 

Although the major differences between “men’s” and “women’s” clothing lie in their marketing, there are a few traditional tailoring distinctions, most of which are arbitrary. For example, for no relevant reason, button-down shirts are gendered based on which side of the garment the buttons/buttonholes are placed. These shirts are part of Official Rebrand's latest binary-rejecting tailoring project; altering deadstock and second-hand shirts so the buttons are on both sides. Buttons come brown but if you'd like us to swap out the original buttons for black or grey, please contact studio@officialrebrand.com.
