horizon T's & Tanks

These cotton T's and Tanks are upcycled from unwanted promotional T-shirts discarded by a local cannabis business. 

The original T's were restructured by combining two shirts and cutting around the original printed design to create a wavy horizon seam across the chest. They were stripped of their luridly bright color to create a softer tone; custard-- our tasty take on butter yellow. As we remove the dye in small batches, slight variation in tones occurs, giving each piece a unique, natural-dye-looking feel.

To prevent waste we construct these pieces on a made-to-order basis, so please allow up to two weeks for creation!

Original shirts cut and sewn by workers in Honduras, redesigned and upcycled in Ridgewood, Queens.

Wash COLD inside out gentle cycle or by hand with standard or mild detergent. no bleach/Oxiclean/Dreft/extra-strength soap.
