Although the major differences between “men’s” and “women’s” clothing lie in their marketing, there are a few traditional tailoring distinctions, most of which are arbitrary. For example, for no relevant reason, shirts and jackets are gendered based on which side of the garment the buttons/buttonholes are placed. 

The essence of Official Rebrand’s mission is to revive unwanted clothing and reintroduce it, rejecting this sewn-in binary, and making it available for anyone who feels fabulous enough to wear it. 

One of our classic binary-rejecting alterations is to transform second-hand jackets so the buttons are on both sides.

Sizing in inches:
Black: original garment marked size 2. shoulder to shoulder 19 / chest 41 / highest point shoulder to hem 27 / highest point shoulder to cuff 25. Original garment made by Far Afield, cotton polyester mix, dry clean only. 

Denim: Vintage Levi Strauss & co, originally marked size XXL. shoulder to shoulder 24 / chest 54 / highest point shoulder to hem 26.5 / shoulder to cuff 24. Shell: 100% cotton, lining 100% plaid polyester fleece.  

Cream waffle: shoulder to shoulder 21 / chest 42 / highest point shoulder to hem 28 / shoulder to cuff 19. Shell 100% cotton.
