Although the major differences between “men’s” and “women’s” clothing lie in their marketing, there are a few traditional tailoring distinctions, most of which are arbitrary. For example, for no relevant reason, button-down shirts are gendered based on which side of the garment the buttons/buttonholes are placed. 

The essence of Official Rebrand’s mission is to revive unwanted clothing and reintroduce it, rejecting this sewn-in binary, and making it available for anyone who feels fabulous enough to wear it. 

One of our essential binary-rejecting tailoring projects is to alter lightly worn second-hand shirts so the buttons are on both sides. 

Sizing in inches and descriptions of variants: 

Black super non-iron: marked size "M", slim fit black button down, raw hems, 100% cotton. Original garment made in Vietnam. shoulder to shoulder 18 / chest 42 / highest point shoulder to hem 24.5 / shoulder to cuff 25.5.

lavender linen: Marked size "XL", made in hong kong, pure linen. shoulder to shoulder 21 / chest 52 / highest point shoulder to hem 27.5 / shoulder to cuff 27.

sage linen: Marked size "S", made in Hong Kong, 55% linen 45% cotton. Originally constructed by Banana Republic. shoulder to shoulder 19 / chest 48 / highest point shoulder to hem 24 / shoulder to cuff 23.5.

Black short sleeve: shoulder to shoulder 19 / chest 42 / highest point shoulder to hem 24.5 / shoulder to cuff 10. Original garment made in Morocco.
