These comfort-minded, printed, gender-free shorts feature white hand-printed images of an unfinished Michelangelo sculpture, perpetually in transformation.
Size small repurposed from second-hand physical education shorts and size XL and 2XL sourced from slightly imperfect seconds from an ethical factory in Los Angeles.
Size XL and 2XL were made using 100% Recycled Cotton that feels good on. Featuring an elastic waistband, drawcord, and deep side pockets. These two pairs came from excess stock from an LA factory. They have minor, pin-hole damage. Instead of throwing them away, we purchased the factory rejects and adorned them for a new life.
The pattern is fit into the cutting markers from the the producer's T-shirt pattern so there’s no fabric waste. Furthermore, the fabric is made from remnants of North American grown cotton waste, collected at the yarn source. Garment dyed after it’s sewn. Preshrunk and ready to wear.
Sizing in inches, elastic waistband allows for adjustable sizing up.
